The versatile quality of denim really shows off in this menswear editorial in Fantastic Man. It incorporates key looks from Jil Sander, Prada, Maison Martin Margiela and Yohji Yamamoto, which explains why i am so fond of it. It’s all things great: simple, all denim, minimalistic and monochromatic with western/workwear influences.

GIVENCHY AW13 

Givenchy never fails to impress me. The fact that they’ve gone back to the dark, monochromatic color scale is definitely moving in the right direction. I think this is were Riccardo Tisci is in his right element - creating neoclassical/romantic statuesque prints. I’m not complaining.

DIY U-BOLT METAL WRISTBAND

This is pretty much what happens whenever I walk into a hardware store. I Automatically  end up among all things metal. Today I found this lyra-shaped u-bolt and a large screw that fit perfectly together with it. And so I made a metal wristband. 

ALAN TAYLOR AW13 MEN’SWEAR

This is probably one of my favorite AW13 men’s wear collections so far. Alan Taylor is really stepping his game up with the ‘almost skirts’ and the perfect cut trousers. Overall I think it’s new and interesting, and i actually do find most garments wearable.

My new HIDEKI Sweater from Cheap Monday is made of Sucba-fabric. Feels and looks sort of like a wet suit.
